A short looping visual you can add to each of your tracks
What is it
Canvas is a 3-8 second looping video that plays on the Now Playing screen when someone listens to your track.
Why it matters
Tracks with Canvas see higher engagement and more shares. It makes your music more visually memorable and shareable.
How to do it
- Go to Music tab in Spotify for Artists
- Select a track and click "Add Canvas"
- Upload a vertical video (9:16 ratio, 3-8 seconds)
- Keep it simple—subtle motion works best
